Why people call Nick’s Plumbing & Air Conditioning
Bill from Nick’s Plumbing & Air was absolutely awesome from start to finish. He took the time to thoroughly assess our HVAC system, explain the issue, and recommend adding a balancing damper to our air duct to improve airflow throughout the house. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. The installation was completed efficiently and neatly, and Bill made sure everything was properly adjusted before he left. He clearly explained how the balancing damper works and answered all of my questions. The improvement in comfort and airflow was noticeable right away. If you're looking for someone who is honest, skilled, and truly cares about doing the job right, I highly recommend Bill and the team at Nick’s Plumbing & Air. Excellent service and a great experience from beginning to end! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is for three toilet installs at my recently purchased property. 2 toilets were installed successfully, while 1 install was unsuccessful and has led to damage (costs still pending, but will be in the thousands). The new toilet's fill valve did not stop the water supply from flowing and the restroom flooded, with water reaching the adjacent nursery room, kitchen, and connecting hallway (wood floors). I had to discover it first and inform the plumber, who was installing a toilet in another room. It's unclear what exactly happened, but negligence is a high possibility. The plumber wanted to blame the failure on the manufacturer of the fill valve, but this argument isn't valid as he was comfortable snapping it back into place and saying the part should work as expected going forward. Even if I bought the toilet from Home Depot, I expect any professional plumber to double check all parts are in working condition or properly set up before installing. Who would trust a plumber to install something that "wasn't fully assembled or broken?" I also expect a plumber to double check their work ie was the fill valve behaving as expected before moving on to another task. There was also another red flag in how he was always wearing over ear headphones - if he could hear and pay more attention to his surroundings, maybe he could have caught the overflow in time. I will have to replace sheet rock, wood trim, wood flooring, and carpet and spend a lot of money in doing so to prevent mold. I'm already spending 120 a day on renting dehumidifiers. This is also robbing me of time with my family. I've sent a complaint email to Nick's - let's see how they respond and if they'll handle it honorably.

$13k, said they’d give me credit for the Freon or whatever they call it, haven’t seen that yet. My old system cooled better but they said I needed a whole new system though I had new upper unit. Didn’t fix the drain issue I had. Cut more sheet rock of course there don’t fix that for $13k. Crooks in my opinion. 78 degrees currently. Set on 72. So mad right now.

Do not believe the positive reviews. Here are 3 reasons why: 1) They installed a water filter in my house on wooden floor, without a tray to catch condensation. I now need to uninstall the filter and reinstall it correctly. See picture attached. 2) They installed a bad tankless water heater in my house about two years ago that only lasted a year. Why? Because the owner of Nick's was friends with the owner of the water heater company (which is now bankrupt because their water heaters sucked). Nick's replaced my water heater with the SAME model and it's still giving us problems. And I still had to pay for the installation again! 3) Yesterday one of their plumbers came to my house to look at several issues. He quoted me $2,800 to move my washer and take a look at the drain and also told me he couldn't tell me what was wrong with my sink unless he heard the problem himself. I asked him about a weird sound in the wall when I used the water. His solution? "Turn off your front door hose sprinkler." Unhelpful and on top of it all had an incredibly unprofessional attitude. I immediately called Nick's, spoke to a manager who booked me for another appointment for the following morning with a "senior technician" and ... no one showed up!!! Didn't even get a call. UPDATE: About 20 minutes after I posted this review two technicians arrived at my home around 11:15am. I told them I wasn't available anymore and they left without even an apology for arriving late. I have been a client for about 5 years. Five years ago I would have said Nick's had the best prices and customer service. I don't know what's happened to them but they've consistently shown worse and worse services over the last couple of years. What a shame.
